Join our team as a Mechanical Engineer specializing in Optical & Hardware Development to contribute to revolutionizing personalized medicine.

About your role / What will you be doing?

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for enhancing existing mechanical systems, developing new product concepts, prototypes, and designing/testing mechanical and electronic automated systems. Your duties include:

• Designing and improving
  - mechanical and mechatronic systems
• Developing test plans, protocols, and conducting prototype and verification testing
• Creating automated systems and control software
• Researching, documenting, and presenting findings
• Developing design documents, schematics, and specifications using 3D modeling software
• Performing system tolerance analyses to meet performance, reliability, and manufacturability standards
• Participating in risk management activities and implementing mitigation strategies
• Engaging in workshops, training, and conferences to stay current
• Collaborating with suppliers for sourcing and fabrication
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience:

• BSc or higher in Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field
• Proficiency in Solid
  Works, Auto
  CAD, or similar 3D modeling software
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and creative skills
• Excellent technical drawing skills
• Bonus: Experience in embedded systems, medical devices, regulated environments, ISO 13485 knowledge
• Startup experience is advantageous
• Effective communication and detailed documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Self-motivated with a passion for engineering
