About your Role / What will you be doing?
As our Mechatronics Engineer, you will be expected to be an innovative,
- driven engineer to join our team. The responsibilities include improving existing mechanical systems, developing new product concepts and prototypes, and designing and testing mechanical and electronic automated systems.
- You will be expected to:
- Design, develop, and improve innovative
- mechanical systems and mechatronic devices. - Develop test plans and protocols and execute prototype testing and design verification testing.
- Create automated systems and control software.
- Conduct research, document findings, and present reports at meetings.
- Develop design documents, schematics, and component specifications for mechanical parts and final products using 3D Modeling software through the document control process.
- Perform detailed system tolerance analyses to achieve desired product performance, reliability, and manufacturability requirements.
- Participate in risk management activities (e. g. , DFMEA) and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Attend workshops, training sessions, and conferences to network and stay updated on field advancements.
- Interface effectively with suppliers to source and fabricate components.
- Perform other duties as assigned as necessary.

Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- BSc or higher in Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or similar.
- Proficiency in Solid
Works, Auto
CAD, and similar 3D Modeling software. - Strong mathematical, analytical, creative thinking, and technical drawing skills.
- Bonus: Experience in embedded system design/programming, experience with medical devices or highly regulated environments, knowledge of ISO 13485.
- Startup experience is a plus.
- Effective communication skills and ability to keep detailed documentation.
- Ability to work independently or in a team.
- Self-starter with a passion for engineering.
