This role is responsible for providing ongoing medical and regulatory expertise to the local business and managing the medical department, including talent development, training plans, and aligning medical strategies with global objectives. It involves ensuring the proper release of promotional materials, advocacy support, and compliance with regulations related to opinion leaders, advisory boards, and medical education programs. The position ensures effective communication between the local and global teams, supporting regulatory and pharmacovigilance strategies, and adhering to compliance rules. It also involves supporting clinical operations, ensuring optimal recruitment, market uptake, and
- efficiency. The role requires active relationship management with health authorities, medical associations, and other stakeholders, while working as part of the Local Management Committee to meet organizational goals.

Governance scope: Steer the medical organisation and provide governance for all functions related to medicine: Medical Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Management and Clinical Operations.
