Medical Information and Adverse Event Intake Specialist with Norwegian and English language
This role places you at the forefront of Patient Safety, involving daily contact with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and patients. You will perform medical information call center services, process safety and product quality data to optimize product safety profiles across therapeutic areas. The position can be Home Based, Hybrid, or Office Based, based on your preference.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing phone support to healthcare professionals and consumers regarding adverse events, product quality complaints, medical inquiries, and other needs (excluding commercial sales support).
- Processing safety operational data, data entry for tracking, coding medical terminology, generating queries, quality control, case closure, and coordinating translations.
- Receiving and documenting safety data reports via calls and emails.
- Fostering a positive team environment, providing training and mentorship.
- Reporting project metrics and challenges to management.
- Proactively liaising with the Project Manager to address issues, support with reports and metrics, and manage client requests.
- Participating in training and process improvement initiatives.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Life Science.
- Excellent written and verbal skills in English (C1) and Norwegian (C2/native).
- Experience in Lifecycle safety (e. g. , Pharmacovigilance, Medical Information) is advantageous.
- High attention to detail and quality standards.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
