Role Summary

You will lead the design and coordination of Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health systems for a hyperscale data centre project in Portugal. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to manage complex design packages in a
- paced EPCM environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full MEP design lifecycle from concept through to commissioning
• Lead coordination between mechanical, electrical, and public health disciplines, ensuring seamless integration with architectural and structural elements
• Manage external consultants and internal design teams to deliver compliant, resilient, and
  - effective solutions
• Ensure designs meet international standards and local Portuguese regulations
• Drive the implementation of Df
  MA (Design for Manufacture and Assembly) principles
• Support procurement and construction teams with technical input and design clarifications
• Maintain design schedules, risk registers, and quality assurance documentation
• Collaborate with BIM teams to ensure accurate and timely model development
• Engage with client representatives and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals
• Lead technical reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering
• Chartered Engineer status or equivalent experience
• Proven track record in delivering
  - scale data centre projects
• Strong understanding of
  - critical systems including HVAC, LV/MV power distribution, UPS, generators, and fire protection
• Experience working in EPCM environments with
  - speed project delivery
• Proficiency in Revit, Auto
  CAD, and BIM coordination tools
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in English;
  
  
  
  Portuguese language skills are a plus
• Willingness to travel regularly to site
