They are seeking an MEP Lead to join their team in Iberia, Portugal . You will be responsible for managing and coordinating all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing activities across the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, subcontractors, and supervisors.
• Proposing suitable changes to design to improve cost efficiency, ease construction programme, and to enhance specification and quality completion.
• Review and approve MEP design documentation, technical submittals, and method statements.
• Monitor construction, regarding quality of workmanship and materials
• Coordinate and liaise with contracts manager, site engineers and other discipline leads to ensure that all subcontractors and site personnel have timely and accurate information
• Check and ensure understanding of drawings and specifications. Ensure that any errors/omissions are formally communicated to the design team in a timely manner
• Establish project resource requirements and lead and motivate the project team
• Oversee highest quality of health and safety

Requirements

• Bachelors’ degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or relevant area
• Minimum 10+ years experience in
  - scale construction or data centre projects, with a strong MEP focus.
• Experience in scheduling, programming, and sequencing
• Proven leadership experience managing
  - disciplinary teams.
• Experience in the delivery in Data Center, industrial, or
  - critical projects.
