Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled team player to join our team.

The Claim Assessor checks complex claims if they meet the current regulations. Approves, reduces or rejects claims and provides a transparent explanation regarding the decision.

Our main target is to ensure that a professional warranty and goodwill process is in place and operated by our Retail Network;



to maintain the high levels of customer service we expect for our customers.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Check complex and
- value claims if they meet the current regulations:

- Make fair and independent decisions;

- Avoid unjustified costs;

- Approvecorrect claims;

- Reduce or reject unjustified claims;

- Providetransparent reasons for decisions via the system to the Retailer;

- Communicate, when necessary, with markets to align decisions;

- Communicate, when necessary, with the other MB Technical Departments (GCSP/CB, GCSP/O, GCSP/TP, RD and MPCs/MOCs) to gain clarification of engineering details;

- Regularcommunication of market topics;

- Operatemasterdata corrections;

- Operatechargebacks concerning audit results.

Qualifications:

- Educational background as automotive mechanic and/or service advisor;

- Experience within a Mercedes-Benz workshop for minimum 3 years is preferred;

- Good knowledgeof Mercedes-Benz products;

- Good knowledgeof Mercedes-Benz workshop processes;

- Good knowledgeof Mercedes-Benz warranty and goodwill processes;

- Good knowledgeof the Mercedes-Benz guidelines and their application (EWMR and WMW) preferred;

- Fluent in verbal and written English;

- Good knowledgeon automotive/ technical English;

- Good knowledgein one of the following additional languages nice to have: German and/or other languages;

- Good knowledgeof Microsoft Office applications;

- Good knowledgeof Mercedes-Benz applications preferred (for example XOT, XPI, EVA, TIPS, VEGA, WIS, AQUA, ALOA, VEDOC, WEM, DDCA);

- Customer oriented;

- Good communication skills related to markets and retail;

- Interpersonal skills and
- minded thinking;

- Stress resistant;

- Proactively seeks to improve processes.
