Job Title: ERP – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Administrator

Location: Nelas, Viseu, Portugal

Reports to: SI Manager

Department: SI

Job Objective

Manage, maintain, and evolve the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP system, ensuring its alignment with the group's operational, logistical, financial, and industrial processes. Ensure that the ERP efficiently supports the operations of the various business units, with a particular focus on the specifics of industrial construction and the processes associated with the production, supply, and application of isothermal panels.

Key Responsibilities

ERP Administration:

• Manage the general configuration of Microsoft Business Central.
• Create and manage users, security profiles, and permissions.
• Monitor system performance and ensure its availability and reliability.
• Ensure integration with other systems (e. g. , CRM, production tools, BI solutions).
  
  

• Work closely with the production, logistics, sales, procurement, and finance departments to ensure the ERP accurately reflects operational flows.
• Adapt the ERP to meet the specific needs of the construction industry and isothermal panel production, including project budgeting, project management, cost control, and production planning.
• Participate in defining and implementing process improvements supported by the ERP.
  
  

• Coordinate system updates, upgrades, and migrations.
• Manage development or adaptation projects with external or internal partners.
• Validate tests and oversee user training when significant system changes occur.
  
  

• Provide 2nd line support to internal ERP users.
• Diagnose and resolve technical or functional issues.
• Prepare internal documentation and procedures.
  
  

• Ensure compliance with internal standards and legal requirements (e. g. , accounting, taxation, GDPR).
• Participate in internal and external audits related to the information system.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Engineering, Management, or similar fields.
• Proven experience in administering the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP (NAV is an advantage).
• Knowledge of processes in the construction and/or industrial sector (preferably with experience in solutions involving isothermal panels or construction materials).
• Knowledge of SQL Server, Power BI, and integration tools (API, web services).
• Analytical skills, organizational abilities, and a focus on continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
