Overview
Our Microsoft team is at an inflection point of growth and we are looking for a Dynamics 365 Business Central Technical Support Consultant to join us on this exciting journey. We are seeking a C/AL and AL Developer to join our support team. You will work closely with clients and our Client Solution team to resolve issues and support the ongoing stability and optimisation of their NAV/Business Central systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for Dynamics 365 Business Central and Dynamics NAV
- Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve issues raised by clients
- Support Dynamics 365 Business Central
- annual major updates with bug fixes, data corrections, and configuration adjustments - Collaborate with the wider team to resolve complex system errors and performance issues requiring deep technical intervention
- Monitor open support tickets communicating effectively with clients to provide ongoing updates and deliver resolutions within agreed SLA’s
- Document solutions and workarounds – both generic and client specific to contribute to the support knowledge base
- Collaborate with Functional Consultants, Solution Architects, and Project Managers
- Work closely with the Client Success Consultants to ensure clients needs are met
- Maintain best practice development standards based on clean,
- documented code and technical documentation for customisations and integrations - Support and participate in quality assurance during projects and support various testing activities
- Monitor and optimise system performance through code and solution architecture
- Stay current with Business Central platform and development releases/roadmap
Qualifications
- Proven experience developing in C/AL and AL for Dynamics NAV and Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Strong understanding of Business Central architecture, including object ranges, licensing, and extension management
- Extensive experience working with Git source control and best practice code review and testing
- Experience working with various Dynamics 365 Business Central apps including Continia and Tasklet
- Knowledge of SQL Server and database management
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for both functional and technical issues for Dynamics 365 Business Central and Dynamics NAV
- Ability to diagnose and resolve performance issues, data errors, and configuration problems
- Familiarity with API web services and SQL database management in the context of Dynamics 365 Business Central and Dynamics NAV
- Experience using Power BI, Power Apps and Azure services with Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Masters or Certification in relevant fields
