Overview

We are seeking an Intermediate Microsoft Technology Consultant to support IT systems and applications within a public sector environment. The role involves managing, administering, and maintaining Microsoft-based solutions and complementary technologies, ensuring availability, security, and performance across multiple platforms and environments. Location: Lisbon, Portugal.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer applications built on Microsoft technologies: SSD, SIGA, and CESD.
• Administer and maintain Exchange 2019 and Office 365 environments.
• Manage, maintain, and ensure connectivity of an access point for communication between all EU Member States.
• Oversee and administer platforms such as Word
  Press, Moodle, Lime
  Survey, PHP, My
  SQL, Kafka, and Low Code (Out
  Systems or Power
  Apps).
• Administer the SMART DOCS document solution and the human resources management solution.
• Deploy applications and data across production and
  - production environments.
• Implement and maintain solutions in disaster recovery environments.
• Perform technical maintenance and troubleshooting across IT systems and environments.

Mandatory Requirements

Professional Experience (minimum):

• 3 years in Microsoft SQL database management, including SQL Server Analysis Services.
• 3 years in SQL database configuration and management in Always
  On mode.
• 3 years with Microsoft Windows Server 2016 or higher.
• 2 years with Microsoft Exchange 2019 and Office 365 email systems.
• 2 years in installation, configuration, and support of Postgre
  SQL, Elastic
  Search, Tomcat, Holodeck
  B2B, Logstash, Apache.
• 2 years administering Microsoft Biz
  Talk Server 2016.

Certifications (minimum 2 required):

• MCTS SQL Server 2016 or higher.
• MCSA: Windows Server 2016 or higher.
• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (AZ-800) or Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900).

Valued Skills & Experience (Nice-to-Have)

• Certifications: Azure Fundamentals, MCSA Power BI Reporting, Kafka certified training.
• Professional Experience (2+ years):
• Low Code platforms (Out
  Systems or Power
  Apps).
• Automation tools (Ansible, Jenkins).
• ITSM Easy
  Vista solution.

Languages

• Portuguese and English (professional working proficiency required).
