We are looking for an Application Support Engineer to join a team responsible for ensuring the stability, performance and reliability of critical applications. The role involves technical and functional support, incident management, continuous improvement and close collaboration with development and infrastructure teams.

Working Model

Hybrid format: minimum 8 days per month in the office, with 1 mandatory
- site day per week in Porto

What You Will Do

• Manage and resolve production incidents

• Coordinate and follow up on changes and technical operations

• Participate in change management across applications and infrastructure

• Maintain updated documentation on architecture, procedures and supervision needs

• Manage backups and perform regular restore tests

• Monitor applications and infrastructure in line with SLA requirements

• Perform capacity control for applications

• Participate in
- call rotations

• Automate and improve existing operational procedures

• Work with development teams on the architecture of new applications

What You Bring

• 3+ years in application support or similar roles

• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows environments

• Experience with BMC/Control-M or similar scheduler

• Scripting skills in Shell, Python and/or Power
Shell

• Experience with JBoss, Tomcat, Apache or IIS

• Experience with Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server and/or My
SQL

• Understanding of SQL basics

• Experience with infrastructure backups

• Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Grafana)

• Knowledge of LDAP, firewall concepts, reverse proxy, Active Directory, Kerberos

• Understanding of
- based infrastructure

• Basic networking knowledge

• English B2 or higher
