Mid Data Engineer (Lisboa)

As a Data Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain robust data solutions supporting business intelligence, analytics, and operational needs. Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Leading the migration of
  - premise data systems to
  - based platforms (GCP).
• Collaborating with
  - functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensuring data quality, integrity, and governance across all stages of the data lifecycle.
• Optimizing data models and queries for performance and
  - efficiency in Big
  Query.
• Automating workflows using orchestration tools like Airflow and
  -
  - code tools like Terraform.
• Contributing to the implementation and evolution of the data platform using modern tools such as dbt.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or similar roles.
• Native Portuguese and advanced English language skills.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and
  - on experience with SQL or Oracle databases.
• Good knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially Big
  Query, Airflow, and Terraform.
• Familiarity with dbt for data transformation and modeling.

Nice to have experience includes Hadoop, Hive, Impala, Starburst, or Py
Spark/Scala, as well as understanding of Data Governance and On-Prem to Cloud data migration strategies.
