Responsibilities

• Perform system management and maintenance activities and provide second and
  - line (technical) service support to Axians Netherlands clients.
• Focus on datacenter infrastructure components within the customers’ architecture and related activities.
• Check system health and perform corrective actions.
• Perform standard changes such as creating or modifying VMs, v
  Motion, user management, restore backups, and OS patching.
• Monitor alarms/events from system monitoring software (Solarwinds currently, future Logic Monitoring) and take timely corrective actions.
• Carry out
  - site maintenance and project work (cabling/patching, hardware component replacement, etc. ).
• Analyze and resolve incidents reported by the customer and communicate status, resolution, or additional requirements.
• Carry out lifecycle management tasks (patching hardware components, firmware, and Windows servers).

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Telecommunications/Network Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Nexus and MDS.
• Experience with server hardware Cisco UCS and server virtualization VMware (ESXi, v
  Center).
• Experience with Storage Net
  App and Backup/Restore (Comm
  Vault).
• Experience with security products such as Trend Micro Deep Security.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, GPO and WSUS, etc.
• VMware and Microsoft Certified Administrator.
• English C1/C2.
