Senior Backend Application Developer

The successful candidate for this role will have a strong foundation in software development, with a focus on building scalable and reliable systems. They will have extensive knowledge of Dot
Net C#, LINQ, MS SQL, Entity Framework, and related technologies, as well as experience using web service protocols like Rest and API design for extensibility and integration. In addition to coding skills, the successful candidate will be able to use version control software such as GIT, demonstrate knowledge of SOLID principles, clean code practices, and web service protocols like Rest and API design for extensibility and integration.

In this role, you will engage in all phases of application development, design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code/APIs to support applications both for web and mobile. You will collaborate regularly in a
- functional team made up of product managers, quality assurance teams, designers, and other developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions. The successful candidate will also be responsible for identifying bottlenecks and bugs, devising solutions to mitigate and address issues, and optimizing web applications for performance, scalability, and security. Furthermore, they will implement security best practices to safeguard sensitive data and protect against potential threats, develop automation tests/collaborate with automation engineers to ensure business needs are met, and allow for regression testing, work closely with users to provide personalized software support as needed, stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our backend infrastructure, document application support and operational procedures, mentor junior engineers, and provide technical guidance to foster their growth and development.
