Position: Mid - Senior Information Technology Operations Analyst

Location: Lisbon (Hybrid)

Type: Fulltime, Hybrid from Lisbon (2-3 days onsite per week)

Languages: English (C1 or higher); French is a plus

Available to work on Rotational Shifts: Shift 1: 08h00 – 16h00; Shift 2: 16h00 – 00h00; 24/7 coverage

Candidates must possess a valid work permit for Portugal

Position Overview:

You’ll work with established runbooks and provide
- line support, contributing to incident resolution and system continuity across a critical IT production environment.

Mid:

• 2 - 4 years of experience in IT Operations or Technical Support
• Can work under guidance and escalate issues to senior staff when needed
• Follows runbooks and contributes to knowledge base documentation

Senior:

• 4+ years of experience in system operations or IT production support
• Able to lead shift responsibilities and train junior team members
• Proactively proposes improvements in automation and monitoring processes

Required Skills:

• Basic
  - level knowledge of Linux/Unix environments (log reading, navigation)
• Experience with ticketing tools such as Jira or Service
  Now
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot incidents independently
• Familiarity with Shell scripting
• Strong
  - solving skills and sense of ownership
• Ability to follow structured procedures and operational workflows
• Attention to detail and proactive in identifying and escalating risks
• Languages: English (C1 or higher); French is a plus

Nice to Have:

• Experience with TWS / Tivoli Workload Scheduler – nice to have

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and follow up on the execution of batch processing plans
• Investigate alerts and incidents detected by monitoring tools
• Apply operational instructions and escalation procedures based on predefined rules
• Analyze and read system logs, navigate directories, and perform basic Linux/Unix troubleshooting
• Collaborate with internal IT teams (Monitoring, File Transfers, Scheduling, etc. ) to address production issues
• Create and manage incident tickets using Jira or Service
  Now
• Work in close coordination with a global IT support structure (EU & APAC)
