Mid-Senior Linux Administrator

Location: Lisbon, Portugal

Hybrid: 2-3 times a week on the client’s office

Type of Contract: Permanent Contract

Mandatory Languages: French (B2 minimum) and English (B2)

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in managing and optimizing Linux environments, particularly with Redhat and Centos distributions. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and support of Linux systems, ensuring optimal performance and security across our infrastructure.

Requirements:

Experience: Proven experience as a Linux Administrator, with a strong focus on Redhat and Cent
OS environments.

Data Bases: Solid understanding of Oracle database management and performance tuning.

Proficiency in monitoring and visualization tools such as Zabbix and Grafana.

Strong scripting skills, preferably in Bash, Python, or similar languages.

Experience with system security, firewall configurations, and best practices.

Excellent
- solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a
- paced environment.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members.

Your Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Linux servers, specifically Redhat and Centos distributions.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Oracle databases to ensure high availability and performance.
• Implement monitoring solutions using Zabbix and Grafana to ensure system reliability and uptime.
• Conduct regular system updates, patch management, and backups to maintain security and data integrity.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize system performance and address capacity planning needs.
• Automate routine tasks with scripts to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Provide technical support and documentation for system configurations and procedures.
