Mid to Senior SQL DBA Lisboa

Overview

Manage, maintain, and optimize SQL database systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance with security regulations. You will be responsible for installation, configuration, performance monitoring, backup policies, and collaborating with development teams to deliver reliable and efficient database solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• At least 3 years of experience as a SQL DBA
• Experience with SQL database administration (SQL Server, My
  SQL, etc. )
• Good knowledge of performance monitoring and tuning tools
• Knowledge of scripting (T-SQL, Power
  Shell)
• Comfortable with database backup, recovery, and archiving strategies
• Nice to have: Experience with cloud databases (Azure, AWS) and No
  SQL databases (Mongo
  DB, Cassandra)
• Fluency in English is mandatory
• Certifications in SQL Server (MCSA, MCSE) or equivalent are a plus
