MAN Truck & Bus focuses on four key areas:

Transforming from a commercial vehicle manufacturer to a provider of intelligent and sustainable transport solutions.

Your Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or comparable job expertise;
• At least 5 years of professional experience;
• Design data pipelines and streaming applications using Kafka and related technologies;
• Create and maintain documentation of Kafka architecture, including data flow diagrams, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures;
• Set up and configure Kafka clusters, topics, producers, consumers, and connectors;
• Ensure secure,
  - availability, and
  - tolerant Kafka environments;
• Implement best practices for data retention, partitioning, replication, and monitoring;
• Monitor Kafka cluster performance and troubleshoot issues related to scalability, latency, and throughput;
• Implement monitoring and alerting systems for Kafka health and performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or similar;
• Collaborate with other teams to integrate Kafka with other systems and applications;
• Provide technical support and guidance to development teams on Kafka-related issues;
• Stay updated with the latest Kafka developments and related technologies;
• Experience in building infrastructure using AWS Ia
  C (Cloud
  Formation / CDK);
• Solid experience with backend development in Java / Kotlin / Python focusing on RESTful APIs and
  - driven architecture.
