Middle Office Corporate Actions Officer
About The Job
- The Middle Office Corporate Actions Officer is responsible for notification and coordination of corporate actions in the EQD and Fixed Income industries during their lifecycle.
- The department provides services for impacted trades involving Trading and/or Clients.
- This activity offers a comprehensive understanding of asset servicing across a wide range of financial products in a growing business.
Your Main Activities Are
- Scrubbing and setting up Corporate Actions in FO/MO systems (e. g. , Picasso, Pablo, Power).
- Monitoring Corporate Actions and identifying eligible global positions (Settled/Pending trades, SLAB).
- Following up on event announcements, forecasts, and deadlines to ensure efficient management of scrubbing, notifications, and bookings in internal systems (e. g. , Calypso, Power, Picasso). Interacting with FO desks & TS.
- Coordinating with FO/TS on voluntary events, compiling elections, and instructing
- office teams and agents/custodians. - Monitoring proceeds/results at payment date and performing controls related to bookings and forecast assumptions.
- Serving as the central contact for Corporate Actions operations and as an expert on market rules.
- Providing reports and participating in meetings to improve processes and systems.
Profile And Skills To Success
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
- Up to 2 years of experience in Banking and Financial Operations.
- Fluency in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Critical thinking and Client-focused approach.
- Strong collaboration and organizational skills.
