Role Description

We are looking for a Middleware Consultant with hands‑on experience in integration development and architecture, preferably using Azure Integration Services or similar middleware platforms.

This is a mid‑senior level position suited for professionals who have worked on complex integration projects across cloud or hybrid environments. The ideal candidate has practical experience designing, building, and maintaining API‑based, event‑driven, or Saa
S integrations, and not just in traditional development roles.

You’ll play a key role in connecting systems, applications, and data across the organization, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance in every integration flow.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, etc. ).
• Work on end‑to‑end integration projects, from requirements gathering and solution design to implementation and testing.
• Develop APIs, connectors, and middleware flows across Saa
  S and on‑premise systems.
• Support cloud‑to‑cloud and cloud‑to‑on‑prem integrations using tools such as Azure, AWS, Boomi, or SAP CPI.
• Ensure integration reliability, security, and scalability following best practices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (architecture, dev, and operations) to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Document integration flows, mappings, and configurations.
• Provide technical support for existing integrations and proactively identify improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• 2–6 years of professional experience in integration and middleware development.
• Solid hands‑on experience with Azure Integration Services, AWS Integration Services, Dell Boomi, or SAP CPI.
• Strong understanding of APIs, REST/SOAP, event‑driven architectures, and data transformation (JSON, XML, XSLT, etc. ).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and cloud deployment practices.
• Excellent problem‑solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with business and technical teams.
• Fluent in English (mandatory).
• Based in the Porto region, available for hybrid work (50% onsite).

Nice To Have

• Knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP) and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with security best practices (OAuth 2. 0, JWT, certificates, etc. ).
• Experience with API lifecycle management and monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, App Insights, etc. ).
• Exposure to Dev
  Ops and Agile methodologies.
