Position Overview

We are seeking a hands‑on Middleware Team Leader to inspire our integration team and drive the development of scalable, enterprise‑grade platforms. You’ll oversee the full software development lifecycle — from translating business requirements into technical solutions to supervising implementation, testing, and deployment. As a hands‑on leader, you’ll mentor developers, drive best practices in integration architecture, and ensure high standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of horizontally scalable Integration Platforms (Middleware) in Java, leveraging Apache Camel and Bane Tech Fire
  Fly.
• Guide the creation of libraries, APIs, and frameworks that support Bane Tech’s product ecosystem.
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle, ensuring timely and high‑quality delivery of solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and specifications, translating business needs into actionable development plans.
• Mentor and support team members in implementing unit testing, code reviews, and best practices.
• Drive the development of new features on state‑of‑the‑art products and technologies, providing strategic guidance on enterprise integration solutions.
• Promote continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and innovation within the middleware team.
• Ensure integration platforms support real‑time KPI delivery across enterprise systems.

Technical Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Java programming and J2EE experience with application servers.
• Deep knowledge of REST and SOAP web services, with the ability to guide best practices in API design and integration patterns.
• Solid understanding of database concepts and technologies (e. g. , My
  SQL), with experience overseeing data integration and architecture decisions.

Leadership Experience

• Problem‑solving mindset with a passion for building resilient, maintainable systems.
• Previous experience mentoring or leading a small team, and knowledge of enterprise integration concepts.
• Strong interest in technical leadership, mentorship, and establishing best practices in a growing team.
