MLOps Engineer Lisboa

Overview

We are selecting for our client, a multinational technology company known for its
- edge solutions and commitment to innovation. We are looking for an MLOps Engineer to join the team and drive the technical implementation of the AI platform.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with ML engineers, architects, and data scientists to build and maintain an
  - source–based delivery platform.
• Support the data science team by maintaining software and infrastructure components and ensuring compliance with IT and regulatory requirements.
• Design and realise a roadmap for the continuous evolution of the ML platform with the Architecture Owner and AI Architect.
• Establish reusable patterns and templates to assist data scientists with implementation.
• Perform code reviews and coach team members in technical best practices.
• Expand the platform onto the AWS Cloud.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science or related field and/or equivalent professional experience.
• Several years’ experience deploying and maintaining robust data processing and
  - learning pipelines.
• Ability to write clean, modular,
  - grade Python code that adheres to industry best practices.
• Strong communication skills, balancing engineering and analytical priorities.
• Experience with tools or technologies including Kubernetes, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, AWS, and SQL.
• Passion for technology and an innovative mindset, particularly in areas such as Machine Learning, Dev
  Ops, and robust Python programming.

Tasks

• You will play a key role in the development and enhancement of the machine learning platform, working closely with the data science team to maintain core software and infrastructure components, implement new features, and ensure alignment with IT policies and regulatory standards.
• In collaboration with the Architecture Owner, AI Architect, and fellow ML Engineers, you will contribute to shaping and executing the roadmap for the platform’s ongoing evolution, integrating

  - art tools and technologies as appropriate.
• You will define and maintain reusable,
  - documented templates and foundational patterns, supporting data scientists in applying them to their projects. This includes conducting code reviews and mentoring team members on technical best practices.
