Android Developer (Kotlin) - Full Remote (6-Month Contract)

About the project: We are looking for an Android Developer to join our global team on a 100% remote project.

If you have experience in Mobile development with Kotlin/Swift and enjoy working in agile environments (Scrum), we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

1. Designing and developing solutions with the team, following development processes (like TDD, BDD, code reviews).
2. Enhancing and optimizing the platform's ability to generate
   - quality code for Android and i
   OS.
3. Designing and implementing features that simplify complex mobile development tasks for Out
   Systems developers.
4. Contributing to the
   - source Capacitor framework, including bug fixes, feature development, and performance optimizations.
5. Producing and testing code in short cycles, with a high degree of automation.
6. Gathering feedback from
   - users and adapting solutions accordingly.
7. Focusing on developing maintainable solutions that scale to thousands of users.
8. Applying knowledge of product development best practices, continuous delivery, and testing.
9. Providing
   - line troubleshooting of complex incidents created by team solutions, including
   - call support rotation.

Qualifications / What You Need To Succeed

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar. If you do not have one but are highly skilled, we still want to hear from you.
• 4+ years of software development experience.
• Knowledge of software engineering principles, algorithms, data structures, and Object-Oriented Design.
• Passion for analyzing and designing elegant solutions for
  - tech problems.
• Passionate about learning and helping others understand complex subjects.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with continuous delivery and testing techniques.
• Drive to innovate and implement development best practices.
• Interest in upcoming technologies and frameworks.
• Good communication skills and fluency in English.
• High level of autonomy.
• Availability to participate in a 24x7
  - call rotation.
• Experience developing developer tools, SDKs, or libraries for mobile platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Android (Java, Kotlin) or i
  OS (Swift, Objective-C) development.
• Experience with Capacitor or similar
  - platform frameworks is a strong plus.
• Contributions to
  - source projects or frameworks are a plus.
