Your tasks

• Close cooperation with architects to successfully pass on specialist knowledge, requirements, and solutions as a multiplier.
• Conception and further development of code design guidelines and architecture standards for i
  OS.
• Carrying out technical reviews and establishing best practices.
• Being a technical sparring partner for developers, product owners, and UX.
• Driving innovation in i
  OS projects within interdisciplinary and international product development teams.
• Applying our guidelines independently and implementing critical or particularly complex passages – from conception to implementation.
• Working closely with development teams and business units, making architecture decisions confidently even under pressure, and providing clarity in complex projects.
• Taking responsibility for overall technical solutions, promoting best practices, and establishing architectures that enable innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Your profile

Technical expertise:

• Degree in computer science or comparable qualification with 10+ years of professional experience.
• At least 4+ years of experience in professional i
  OS app development.
• Proven expertise in the design of modular and maintainable app architectures.
• In-depth knowledge of code design, clean code, and architecture principles.
• Excellent knowledge of Swift, Swift
  UI, Combine, and Swift Concurrency.
• Experience with Swift Package Manager and persistent database systems such as Swift
  Data or technologically equivalent alternatives.
• Deep understanding of i
  OS system architecture, performance optimization, and UI design principles.
• Ability to implement architectural specifications in a practical manner in
  -
  - day project work.
• Experienced in agile working methods.

Social skills:

• High level of
  - responsibility and structured working style.
• Strong communication skills (excellent English, Portuguese and/or German are a plus) and team spirit.
• Openness to interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Excellent
  - solving skills and attention to detail.

About The Department

As a Mobile Software Architect (i
OS), you will define the technical foundations for i
OS development at our new IT Hub in Lisbon. You set standards for code design, review processes and actively develop the architecture of our mobile applications.

You will work closely with product managers and developers and bring your deep technical understanding to complex project contexts.
