Overview

Model-Based Software Developer (f/m/div. ) — Aveiro, Portugal. Full-time position in the Electric Solutions group at Bosch Home Comfort. Location: Aveiro. Start date: Mediante acordo.

Responsibilities

• Develop application software for Air-to-Water Heat Pumps.
• Participate in an agile team to implement models and functions to control Heat Pumps primarily in MATLAB Simulink (C/C++ for legacy products maintenance).
• Ensure design guidelines and
  - quality principles are applied in your work.
• Ensure timely delivery of your assigned work within project timelines.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Electronic, Electrical and Computers, or Mechanical Engineering (or similar).
• Experience: 5+ years in a similar role; knowledge and experience in MATLAB and Simulink (model-based development); experience in building automation and HVAC systems.
• Know-how: Knowledge of modern Dev
  Ops (Atlassian toolchain and Jenkins); knowledge and experience in C/C++ (other OO languages valued); knowledge of data bus communication (e. g. , CAN, Modbus, LIN).
• Languages: Fluent in English and Portuguese.
• Working Style: Organized, collaborative, proactive with strong planning skills.
• Personality: Responsible,
  - driven, eager to innovate and learn, with willingness to collaborate with international teams and occasional business travel.
