Job Description:

The Model Risk Management (MRM) department at Natixis in Portugal is organized into four teams: Regulatory Credit Risk & Scoring Model Validation, IFRS9 and Credit Stress Test Model Validation, ALM Model Validation, and Compliance & Non-Financial Risk Model Validation. The Regulatory Credit Risk & Scoring Model Validation team is seeking a Quantitative Analyst to validate IRB credit models.

The role involves validating models in the Non-Retail Credit Risk domain, including:

• Evaluating risk aspects such as data, methodology, performance, monitoring, usage, and documentation;
• Preparing validation reports and presenting findings;
• Monitoring the implementation of recommendations;
• Overseeing regulatory and methodological developments.

Qualifications include a Master's in a quantitative field, at least 3 years of experience in credit risk modeling or validation, familiarity with relevant regulations (NDOD, Basel IV, EBA Guidelines, CRR/CRD, ECB Guide), understanding of modeling techniques (statistics, economics, machine learning), proficiency in Python, SQL, R, and MS Office, excellent writing skills, and fluency in English; French is a plus.

Soft skills required are independence, attention to detail, proactivity, interpersonal skills, and written communication skills. Only English CVs will be considered.
