Job Description
The Monitoring team is the central point of monitoring in the Cloud IT department. It provides continuous monitoring 365 days a year, on a rotating basis. The team oversees the management of events and/or incidents on the perimeter of the infrastructure and services of the Cloud IT solutions. After detecting an event or incident, this team checks how it should be managed and applies resolution actions using the appropriate procedure.
This team works directly with our technical teams based in Paris and/or in other subsidiaries, and with the Customer Support Department.
Responsibilities
- Supervision of all technical platforms and client applications;
- Management of technical events or incidents;
- Perform technical operating procedures;
- Prepare operating reports;
- Propose continuous improvement actions.
Qualifications
- Degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics or similar;
- Background experience with Windows and Linux OS;
- Basic notions of computer databases, network concepts, communication protocols and virtualization;
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools would be a plus;
- Basic scripting skills for automation of monitoring tasks would be a plus;
- Basic notions of Public & Private Cloud would be a plus;
- ITIL V3/V4 Foundation Certification / understanding of ITIL processes would be a plus;
- Ability to work in a team, be autonomous and able to respect instructions and procedures;
- Good communication and analytical skills;
- Good level of English is mandatory;
- Good level of French is mandatory.
