MSL Hematology (Maternity Cover)
Overview
We are recruiting a Medical Scientific Liaison reporting to the Medical Lead Portugal, in the Hematology therapy area.
Main Responsibilities
Through
- field scientific engagement with healthcare providers and external experts, the Medical Scientific Liaison fosters a more educated healthcare environment by:
- Communicating deep knowledge of GSK data in the context of overall patient care to ensure
 - based understanding of the science behind GSK medicines in the area of expertise. Responsible for identification and segmentation of external experts within the therapeutic area under responsibility.
- Gathering valuable insights on GSK products and services, and on medical and scientific information to better understand patient needs and evidence gaps.
- Implementation of medical strategy through medical projects including disease awareness, medical education, advisory boards, and External Experts.
- Support the implementation of medical plans and integrated evidence plans with the team.
- Collaborate closely with market access, marketing, and sales force to provide input into medical strategic direction in the short, medium, and long term.
Qualifications and Experiences
- MD, Pharmacist, Ph
 D and other
 - sciences or equivalent.
- >1 year of relevant experience as MSL in a role successfully engaging in scientific exchange with external experts.
- Scientific background in hematology, preferentially.
- Competencies including communication skills, project management, clinical research insights, business and market knowledge.
- Key
 - functional collaboration with local and regional medical and commercial key teams.
- Portuguese & English, verbally and in writing.
- Availability for travel.
