At Boomit, we are looking for talented Mule
Soft Developers to integrate the team of one of our key Technological Partners in their Lisbon offices, working under a hybrid model.

Responsibilities

Your Day-to-Day in the Partner's Team:

• Develop, implement, and maintain integration solutions using Mule
  Soft technology.
• Design and build APIs, ensure
  - performance backend systems, and follow software development best practices.
• Participation in challenging technological projects, often with an international scope.

Levels

We are Hiring for Two Levels: MID-Level and SENIOR Developer

Qualifications – MID-Level

• Professional experience of 2 to 4 years in developing and implementing integration solutions using the Mule
  Soft Anypoint Platform.
• Experience in API development and consumption (REST, SOAP).
• Familiarity with API-led connectivity principles.
• Familiarity with API specification (RAML or Open
  API) and using Anypoint Exchange.
• Experience in backend development and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Experience with testing and debugging Mule
  Soft applications (MUnit is a plus).
• Familiarity with deployment models (Cloud
  Hub or
  - premise) and monitoring.
• Mule
  Soft Certified Developer – Level 1 is required.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts (Maven, Git) is a plus.

Qualifications – Senior Developer

• Professional experience superior to 4 years in developing and implementing integration solutions using the Mule
  Soft Anypoint Platform.
• Proven capacity to design and implement API-led connectivity (System, Process, and Experience layers), aligned with Center for Enablement (C4E) best practices.
• Strong command of API specification and governance: RAML 1. 0 / Open
  API 3. 0, publishing assets to Anypoint Exchange, and applying policies via API Manager or Flex Gateway.
• Practical experience in building CI/CD pipelines with Maven, Anypoint CLI, Git-based workflows, and automated testing with MUnit.
• Experience in deployment and production operations with Cloud
  Hub 2. 0 and/or Runtime Fabric (RTF), including scalability, monitoring, and logging.
• Mule
  Soft Developer Certification (Level 1 or 2) is mandatory. Architect-level certification is highly desirable.
• Experience in backend development, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and computer science fundamentals.
• Experience with enterprise integration patterns, middleware platforms, and connecting diverse systems (REST, SOAP, JMS, DB, Saa
  S).
• Leadership in Mule 3 to Mule 4 migrations.
• Advanced usage of Anypoint MQ, Object Store v2, VPC peering, and custom connectors.
• Mentoring junior developers conducting internal C4E capability sessions.
• Performance optimization and troubleshooting in
  - volume transaction environments.

Education & Language

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar.
• Language: Fluency in Portuguese is required. Proficiency in English and Spanish is a significant advantage.
