About the role
The National Accounts Manager's overall objective is to lead a team of KAMs to develop and implement the sales strategy per customer in alignment with Reckitt's strategic objectives (NR, COP, Gross Margin, NWC), and to manage the customer relationship on an ongoing basis. The role has accountability for the full scope of Reckitt's commercial interaction with the direct customers assigned, ranging from the development of sales strategy per customer to the management of promotional activities. The role requires close
- functional interaction with trade marketing, planning, marketing, logistics, finance, and IT.
Your responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of KAMs, ensuring high performance, engagement, and professional growth.
- Oversee workload distribution and provide mentorship, fostering a collaborative and
- driven team environment. - Achieve strategic objectives per customer – i. e. NR, Gross Margin.
- Build
- term partnerships with customers. - Manage the promotional strategy per customer and promotional execution (including trade budget management, range and space optimization).
- Manage negotiations with the customer in relation to Reckitt's commercial strategy and customer trading terms.
- Implement and ongoing management of the category strategy per customer.
- Develop and ensure successful implementation of customer new product launch plans.
- Identify opportunities for efficiency, profitability, and overall improvement in category account management.
- Elaborate and allocate quantitative and qualitative goals.
- Supervise all investments made with customers.
- Ensure that business practices align with Reckitt's values and code of conduct.
- Proactively identify complications and implement timely solutions.
Your experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business / Pharma sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years experience in Sales / Key Account Management, preferably in the healthcare sector.
- English and Portuguese advanced.
- Results-oriented, entrepreneurial and
- motivated. - Tenacious and resilient, driven to achieve even when faced with obstacles.
- Leadership and interpersonal skills capable of building strong working relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Strong commercial understanding of business issues and opportunities.
