Job Description

Devoteam Portugal is looking for a Dev
Sec
Ops Engineer to join our nearshore team for an exciting project in the financial sector. , You'll play a key role in implementing Policy-as-Code solutions, leveraging strong skills in Python OOP , Terraform , and AWS scripting with Boto3.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement infrastructure automation using Terraform (modular architecture, promotion strategies).
• Write and maintain Python code with a focus on OOP, using frameworks and custom packages.
• Work with AWS (scripting via Boto3 ) to manage and secure cloud resources.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Git
  Lab.
• Collaborate with development and security teams to improve Dev
  Sec
  Ops best practices.
• Ensure compliance and security standards across
  - cloud environments (AWS & Azure).

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering or Dev
  Sec
  Ops roles
• Strong experience with Python , including OOP and package development
• Solid knowledge of AWS and scripting with Boto3
• Experience with Git
  Lab CI/CD
• Deep understanding of cloud security principles and Policy-as-Code
• Ability to write clean, scalable, and reusable code for infrastructure

Nice to Have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Exposure to Azure (the project includes Azure components)
