Job Description

DVT Denmark is looking for a seasoned Cloud Engineer specialized in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our strategic and growing cloud practice. This is a long-term engagement for someone passionate about
- native architecture, automation, and scalable platform design.

As a Senior or Principal Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust cloud infrastructure on GCP. You’ll work closely with our architecture and development teams to implement containerized solutions, infrastructure as code, Git
Ops workflows, and observability tooling.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement
  - native solutions on GCP.
• Deploy and manage Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) clusters.
• Use Terraform for infrastructure provisioning (Ia
  C).
• Implement Git
  Ops workflows using Argo
  CD.
• Manage Kubernetes applications with Helm charts.
• Configure Nginx Ingress for secure traffic routing and load balancing.
• Set up observability with tools like Data
  Dog Agent and Open
  Telemetry Collector.
• Utilize tools like Config Connector, Cert Manager, External DNS, and Crossplane for resource orchestration and connectivity.
• Integrate Snyk Monitor for security scanning and vulnerability management.
  
  

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud engineering or Dev
  Ops, with a strong focus on GCP.
• Proven expertise in designing and operating Kubernetes clusters, preferably with GKE.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code practices.
• Solid understanding of Git
  Ops concepts and experience with Argo
  CD.
• Comfortable working with Helm, Nginx Ingress, and Kubernetes
  - ons.
• Strong observability practices using Data
  Dog, Open
  Telemetry, or similar tools.
• Experience with
  - native security, including tools like Snyk.
• Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills.
  
  

Nice to Have

• GCP Professional Certification (e. G. , Cloud Architect, Dev
  Ops Engineer).
• Experience with Crossplane, Config Connector, or similar tools for GCP resource abstraction.
