About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join an Agile team building scalable,
- native applications. You will work with Java and Spring Boot, design and deliver microservices, and contribute to modern architectures deployed in Kubernetes on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS).

This role requires strong backend engineering fundamentals, experience with API design, and the ability to build reliable services in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot;
  
  
  
  
• Build andevolve
  - based architectures;
  
  
  
  
• Designandimplement secure and scalable REST APIs;
  
  
  
  
• Deployandoperate services on Kubernetes in cloud environments (GCP/AWS);
  
  
  
  
• Work with
  SQL-based data sources and support integration with other storage solutions;
  
  
  
  
• Apply Agile practices and collaborate closely with
  - functional teams;
  
  
  
  
• Contribute to technical decisions, code quality, and continuous improvement;
  
  
  
  
• Implementreactive services when required using Web
  Flux / Mono.

Required Experience & Skills:

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Java;
  
  
  
  
• Stronghands-on experience with Spring Boot;
  
  
  
  
• Provenexperience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS) and related services;
  
  
  
  
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture;
  
  
  
  
• Experience with Kubernetes;
  
  
  
  
• Strongexperience in API design and RESTful services;
  
  
  
  
• Experience working in Agile development environments;
  
  
  
  
• Experience with reactive Java (Web
  Flux / Mono);
  
  
  
  
• English B2

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with workflow engines such as Camunda (or similar)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization ( Docker )
• Experience with cloud scheduled jobs / functions / activities
• Proficient with SQL and/or No
  SQL databases
