This is a 6-month freelance assignment based in Lisbon within an existing engineering environment. The engagement runs from January 1 to June 30. The role requires senior delivery capacity, a university degree, and
- site presence in the Lisbon office 4 days per week. The total hiring need is 3FTE.

Responsibilities

Develop backend services and REST APIs with. NET 5 and higher using C#

Contribute to architecture discussions and platform evolution

Ensure code quality, testing practices, and security standards

Perform code reviews and support engineering standards

Work closely with Product and QA teams

Provide technical guidance and mentoring when required

Requirements

At least five years of experience in software development

Ability to work with autonomy and ownership

Strong experience with. NET 5 and higher using C#

Experience with Vue. js or another frontend framework

Hands-on experience with REST APIs

Good understanding of SQL and relational databases

Proficiency with GIT

Knowledge of software design principles and architecture

Experience working in Scrum environments

Fluency in English

University degree

Nice to have

Experience with Domain Driven Design

Knowledge of SOLID principles and clean code practices

Experience with Azure Dev
Ops and CI CD pipelines
