We are seeking a highly skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Porto, Portugal. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, networks, servers, and virtualization. Your duties will include monitoring network performance, troubleshooting network problems, implementing security protocols, and ensuring data backup and recovery.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator
• Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP), LAN/WAN
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware)
• Experience with server hardware and software (Windows Server)
• Understanding of security protocols (Firewalls, IDS/IPS)
• Strong analytical and

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain computer systems, networks, servers, and virtualization
• Monitor network performance to ensure smooth operation
• Troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions
• Manage security protocols to protect against cyber threats
• Develop backup procedures to ensure data recovery in case of emergencies
• Upgrade systems with new releases and models as needed
• Collaborate with IT team members to resolve technical problems
• Provide technical support for users regarding hardware/software issues
• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations and procedures
