The Digital Systems and Communications Porto department is looking for a Network Automation and Remote Control Electrician.

What you will do

• Support operation of electrical distribution network, interpretation and analysis of event records and
  - making accordingly;
• Analysis of the low voltage grid through smart grid;
• Operation of the incident management system, intervention in relationships with associated systems and mobility in the field;
• Dispatch of incident breakdowns and correct replacement of customers' electricity supply;
• Analysis the performance of the operational teams;
• Analysis and application of Legislation and Exploitation of Electrical Networks;
• Network and operations management in major contingency situations;
• Support in the development of projects related to proactive fault detection.

What are we looking for

• Training at the 12th Year, Technological and Professional Courses in Electrical Installations Technician; Electrical Networks Technician and Electrical Installations, Electricity, Electrotechnics, Electronics, Electromechanics, Mechatronics, or related areas.
• Preference is given to those with knowledge or professional experience in electrical networks and/or electrical installations.
• Experience in Automation, Protection, Command and Control Systems is valued.
• Proficiency in basic computer navigation skills (Windows) and Office tools.
• Knowledge of English, mainly in oral comprehension and reading.
• Driving license and availability for frequent travel in the central region of the country (mandatory).
• Physical condition for working at heights.
• Availability to integrate into the On-call Availability Schedule (work outside normal hours).
• Residence in Portugal, preferably close to the place of work.
• Customer focus, Agility and Speed, Problem Solving, Self-control/Self-confidence and Process Orientation are decisive skills for the performance of the role.
