Introduction & Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with a solid technical and commercial background in designing, deploying, and managing resilient digital networks. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise across LAN, WLAN, and WAN technologies, and will be adept at ensuring network performance and security. A proactive and autonomous professional, this role requires a minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to mentor junior staff.

Main Responsibilities:

• Designing, deploying, and managing complex, secure, and
  - performance digital networks.
• Installing and configuring networking software and devices including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Maintaining comprehensive technical documentation of network topology.
• Interpreting ITED projects and validating implementations in the field.
• Monitoring network performance and availability.
• Troubleshooting network issues in both
  - premises and cloud environments.
• Automating tasks and monitoring their effectiveness.
• Understanding and applying communication and routing protocols effectively.
• Evaluating and working with Wi-Fi site surveys and Cisco Meraki technologies.
• Implementing and supporting Network Access Control (NAC) if applicable.

Key Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in network engineering roles.
• Degree in Information Technology or equivalent field preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Experience mentoring junior team members.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on results.
• Strong level of English or French (at least one mandatory).

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of Cisco collaborative solutions, specifically Cisco Call Manager.
• Theoretical understanding of SD-WAN and SASE architecture.
• Experience implementing NAC (Network Access Control).
