About the job
Main missions
Your responsibilities include:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's network infrastructure.
- Analyse network performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless network operations.
- Develop and implement network security protocols to protect against cyber threats.
- Provide technical guidance and support to network administrators and users.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network issues to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
Expected skills & experience
We are looking for someone with the following experience and skills:
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience as a network engineer or network administrator
- Proven track record of leading network engineering teams
- Hands‑on experience with network design, configuration and troubleshooting
Technical skills
- Proficient in configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls and other network devices
- Expertise in network protocols (TCP/IP, VLAN, OSPF, BGP, etc. )
- Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools (e. g. , Cisco Prime, Nagios, Zabbix)
- Experience with cloud‑based network solutions (e. g. , AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Familiarity with network security best practices and technologies (e. g. , VPNs, IPS/IDS, SIEM)
Soft skills / transversal skills
- Strong problem‑solving and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and mentor a team of network professionals
- Adaptability to changing technology and business requirements
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
