Network Engineer
Job Purpose
The Network Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliable, secure, and efficient operation of the organization’s network infrastructure. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining network solutions and managing networking platforms. The engineer is also responsible for producing performance reports, analyzing infrastructure metrics, and contributing to continuous improvements across the network environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and optimize the organization’s network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi access points, and NAC solutions.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex network incidents and service requests.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting across LAN, WAN, WLAN, and network security environments.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and network diagrams.
- Produce regular reports on network performance, availability, capacity, and incident trends.
- Participate in network upgrade projects, infrastructure improvements, and technology evaluations.
- Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure service continuity and SLA compliance.
- Contribute to the definition and improvement of network standards, policies, and operational procedures. Participate in scheduled maintenance windows and network upgrade activities when required.
Education & Certifications
Technical training (Level 5, CET/CTESP equivalent)
Preferred certifications (not mandatory):
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
- Comp
TIA Network+. - Comp
TIA Security +. - Fortinet NSE4 or above.
- Aruba Certified Switching Professional (ACCP), Aruba Certified Clear
Pass Professional (ACCP) or Aruba Certified Mobility Professional (ACMP).
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN networking, Layer 2/Layer 3 switching, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, STP, VRRP).
- Strong experience with firewalls, security policies, VPNs, and network segmentation.
- Advanced understanding of enterprise Wi-Fi, NAC, 802. 1X authentication, and access control strategies.
- Proficiency with network monitoring, event management, and traffic analysis tools.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose complex issues effectively. ).

- Experience working with networking platforms from leading vendors such as Aruba, Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, or similar.

Winds). - Use of ITSM/ticketing systems such as Service
Now, Jira Service Management, or similar. - Ability to work with reporting and dashboard tools (Power BI, Grafana, or equivalent).

Working hours 08:00h-17:00h, 09:00h-18:00h.
