Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Network Optimization Engineer to join our Customer Services team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the optimal performance of our customer's communication networks. You will be responsible for analyzing network performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance network efficiency and user experience.

How You Will Contribute and What You Will Learn

• Participate in Nokia's NPI across Europe from NPO's side.
• Act as a main point of contact for all technical queries and liaise with Nokia’s R&D for
  - depth product support.
• Deliver customer technical workshops regarding 5G and other technologies.
• Validate the performance of the latest RAN software in lab and customer networks.
• Design, test, and assess Nokia's latest 5G features for customers.
• Mentor and guide Nokia’s remote global delivery support team to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Develop and review
  - wide design recommendations covering performance, spectrum, and capacity within and across regions.
• Organize field measurements and laboratory tests, plan and implement test cases.
• Optimize networks based on traffic trends and customer forecasts.
• Serve as a main point of contact for technical queries and liaise with Nokia R&D for product support.
• Validate RAN software performance in lab and customer networks.
• Design, test, and evaluate Nokia's latest 5G features for clients.

Key Skills and Experience

• 10 years of experience in 4G/5G radio network planning and optimization.
• Expertise in Nokia 4G/5G software and hardware releases, RAN parameters, KPIs, and features.
• Experience with 5G NSA, SA, C-RAN/O-RAN is a plus.
• Experience with Nokia Manta
  Ray SON.
• Strong knowledge of 3GPP releases and protocols.
• Ability to lead activities for maintaining and improving network KPIs.
• In-depth troubleshooting skills for network statistics, KPIs, UE logs, and g
  NB/e
  NB logs.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Problem-solving and
  - making abilities.
• Results-oriented and
  - focused approach.
• Fluent in English; additional languages such as French, German, or Italian are a plus.
