Network Security Engineer Porto

Overview

This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, with its technological hub in Porto and a focus on developing innovative solutions and supporting operations related to the business. This position is for Porto (Hybrid).

Responsibilities

• Apply network security engineering practices to design, implement, and manage security controls across enterprise networks.
• Collaborate with IT and operations teams to support production environments, including handling requests, incidents, changes, and documentation.
• Develop and manage security rules in firewalls (e. g. , Palo Alto, Fortinet).
• Monitor and respond to security events and maintain secure configurations in a
  - paced environment.

Requirements

• At least 9 years of experience with network segmentation technologies on traditional firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc. ).
• Experience coding security rules in Firewall platforms (Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc. ).
• Experience in an IT production environment (management of requests, incidents, changes, documentation, etc. ).
• Good level of English - minimum B2 (mandatory).
• Ability to keep up with a demanding and
  - paced environment; willingness to learn and evolve; good communication skills; ability to work in a team.
