- winning editorial team covering the cryptocurrency, blockchain, and Web3 sectors. You will break news, write features, and deliver insightful analysis to help readers navigate the
- evolving digital asset space.

Key Responsibilities

• Pitch and generate original stories covering crypto economy topics (De
  Fi, regulation, NFTs, venture capital, etc. ).
• Monitor markets,
  - chain data, social media, and other sources for breaking news.
• Interview founders, investors, developers, regulators to build trusted source networks.
• Write clean, compelling,
  - researched news articles, features, and analysis under Coin
  Desk’s editorial standards.
• Collaborate with editors and reporters on coverage.
• Stay informed on macroeconomic trends affecting crypto markets.
• Support multimedia content like podcasts, videos, and live events.

Qualifications

• Proven reporting/journalism experience, ideally in finance, tech, or related fields.
• Deep understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain, and digital assets.
• Excellent writing and storytelling skills; able to simplify complex topics for a wide audience.
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Research and analytical expertise.
• Track record of breaking news and cultivating sources.
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with content management systems and social media.
• Experience with AI tools for research, data analysis, and transcription, plus ethical knowledge of AI use in journalism.
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Economics, or related field is a plus.
