Job Opportunity
Coin
Desk is looking for a proactive News Reporter with deep knowledge of cryptocurrency, blockchain, and Web3 industries. The role involves breaking news, producing
- depth features, and providing market insights. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to a leading publication at the forefront of the digital asset space.

Responsibilities

• Generate and pitch original story ideas within the crypto economy (e. g. , De
  Fi, regulation, NFTs, venture capital).
• Monitor markets,
  - chain data, and social media for breaking news developments.
• Conduct interviews with industry players (founders, developers, investors, regulators).
• Write clear and compelling news articles, features, and analysis pieces.
• Work with editors and reporters for comprehensive coverage and collaboration.
• Maintain understanding of macroeconomic trends and their potential market impact.
• Contribute to multimedia content like podcasts, videos, and live events.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a reporter or journalist, preferably with a focus on finance or technology.
• In-depth knowledge of cryptocurrency, blockchain, and the digital asset space.
• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
• Strong communication skills (English required).
• Strong research, analytical, and
  - building abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with online content management and social media platforms.
• Experience with AI-powered tools for research and analysis is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Economics, or a related field.

Location
This position requires 2-3 days per week onsite at local offices in London, Lisbon, or Frankfurt. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK/EU.
