Körber is modernizing and optimizing its finance and accounting footprint. In this context, the Körber Group is creating an Accounting Shared Services Center in Porto with the aim of streamlining the accounting processes and delivering
- quality accounting services to the Group.

Based in Porto, the Order to Cash (O2C) Accounting Specialist will join the Shared Services Center from the early stages and will support the Accounting Team Lead in shaping the O2C process from the beginning.

Your Role

The O2C Accounting Specialist will play a key role in managing and optimizing the order to cash process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, collections, and application of cash receipts. Responsibilities include:
Order management:
- Coordinate with sales and logistics teams to resolve
  - related issues and discrepancies.
Invoicing:
- Generate and issue invoices to customers promptly.
- Ensure all invoices are accurate, complete, and compliant with contractual terms and conditions.
Collections / cash applications:
- Apply cash receipts accurately to customer accounts.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue accounts.
Execute tasks according to organizational deadlines and KPIs. Support Process Management in continuous process improvement for standardized O2C procedures.
Maintain effective communication with
- receiving companies to support ad hoc tasks and resolve issues swiftly.
Collaborate with other accounting areas within the Shared Services Center to ensure quality and harmonized solutions for Group companies.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and Group standards, including German GAAP and tax regulations.

Your Profile

Completed studies in accounting or business administration.
At least 3 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a Shared Services Center or multinational environment.
Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
Proficient in MS Office, experience with SAP desirable.
Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Collaborative, communicative, and responsible personality.
