Your new Role:
As an O2C Team Lead, you will lead one of the teams within the Order to Cash domain. You will manage, motivate and developing a team that delivers strong results that meet performance targets, enabling organisation to maximise its cash position.
Your responsibilities will include:
- In the design and transition phase, document O2C processes according to the defined methodology and ensure relevance of O2C processes are defined;
- Develop and document procedures and processes and acting as a subject matter expert involved in project work when required.
- Build, manage and motivate an O2C team, supporting the development of team members, defining and monitoring clear performance targets, and ensuring SLAs are consistently met or exceeded.
- Manage complex and escalated cases, oversee workload management and distribution, and identify and implement tactical performance improvements.
- Support employee onboarding and training, conduct regular performance reviews, and administer employee rewards to ensure continuous development and engagement.
- Monitor credit risks, receive payments and remittance advice, apply receipts (cash application) and manage unapplied receipts.
- Manage dunning & litigation, manage disputes and close the AR Sub‑Ledger.
- Billing process management and oversee the billing process to guarantee accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Reduction of aged debt, cash collection against target, improved Days Sales Outstanding, reduction in disputes and reduction in unallocated cash.
What you will need to be successful:
- 3-5 years’ experience in the O2C function.
- 2+ years’ experience in managing people.
- Strong command of verbal and written Spanish and English
- SAP and Sidetrade knowledge.
- Pro‑active, responsive and action‑orientated, with the ability to work in a constantly changing process environment and a desire to progress within the organisation.
- Strong interpersonal, people development and coaching skills, with experience in performance management and the ability to work with and influence all stakeholders.
- Experience in transformation projects and process improvements, with the ability to understand business policies and procedures as they impact the role and business activity.
- Ability to plan, manage and prioritise own and others’ workload, as well as collate, interrogate and manage data to create strategic direction based on data analysis.
