Objetivo da vaga: Envisioning the growth of the Innovation Department multidisciplinary engineering team, Active Space Technologies seeks entry‑level engineers from several relevant engineering fields (e. g. Electronics, Physics, Aerospace), who are willing to be challenged and develop their skill set within a talented, passionate and cooperative team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Researching state‑of‑the‑art technologies;
• Designing digital and analogue electronic circuits;
• SPICE modelling and simulation;
• Developing embedded software for microcontrollers;
• Prototyping and testing electronic systems;
• Producing technical documentation on each step of the development cycle.

Minimum Requirements

Academic Qualification

Higher degree in a relevant engineering field (e. g. Electronics, Aerospace, Physics).

Key Technical Expertise

• Designing digital and analogue electronic circuits, supported by SPICE simulations;
• PCB layout design;
• Embedded software development for microcontroller systems.

Added Value Expertise

• Previous contact with Altium Designer;
• Firmware development using C;
• CAN Bus, sensor networks, UART or other serial protocols;
• Designing for ECSSs or aeronautic standards, such as DO‑254.

Languages

• English limited working proficiency required;
• English full professional proficiency is added value;
• Portuguese proficiency is added value;
• Any other language skills may be added value.

Availability

From immediate to 1 month.

Compensation

€ 14, 000 to € 19, 000 per annum.
