The Veeam Quality Assurance team invites you to work on Veeam’s products together with Veeam QA professionals in Prague.
Your Tasks Will Include
- Monitor, manage, and improve
- premises infrastructure based on VMware v
Sphere for performance testing labs - Enterprise storage systems management and troubleshooting (i
SCSI, NFS like Net
App or Pure Storage, S3-compatible like Min
IO, Cloudian) - Develop and maintain advanced Ansible playbooks and roles for automated lab deployment and configuration
- Manage and extend Jenkins pipelines for lab provisioning and configuration changes
- Automate collection and aggregation of metrics/logs into Grafana / Prometheus / Victoria
Metrics — fully deployed and managed
- prem, without Kubernetes - Proactively monitor infrastructure health, identify and fix bottlenecks before they cause downtime
- Provide
- level performance troubleshooting and incident resolution for lab systems - Perform capacity planning and manage the hardware lifecycle, including research, selection, and technical justification for new servers, storage, and network equipment
- Expert-level VMware ESXi and v
Center administration — from
- metal install to
- ready cluster configuration - Deep knowledge of enterprise storage (i
SCSI, NFS, S3-compatible) and systems like Net
App, Pure Storage, Min
IO, etc - Strong automation skills with Ansible — writing custom roles, using dynamic inventories, complex deployments, deep troubleshooting
- Expert-level Power
Shell scripting for Windows and VBR automation - Ability to set up and run monitoring stacks (Grafana, Prometheus) from scratch on premise
- Proven experience building and maintaining Jenkins pipelines for complex infrastructure deployment workflows
- Networking fundamentals: VLAN, LACP, routing, troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of the enterprise hardware market (Dell, HPE, Supermicro, etc. ) with proven experience in capacity planning and creating technical specifications for procurement
- Proactive mindset, structured thinking, and ability to work independently
- Experience with other virtualization platforms like Hyper-V, KVM, Nutanix, Proxmox
- Experience with VMware v
SAN, v
Cloud Director, NSX-T - Solid Bash scripting or Python development skills
- Experience in QA or performance testing environments
- Familiarity with Veeam products
