On-site Support Technician – IT & Networks
Main Responsibilities:
- The technician provides
- site user support and ensures the maintenance, monitoring, and availability of IT equipment and services.
- Maintenance and User Support
- Handles
- site hardware and software maintenance for IT and telephony equipment.
- Performs preventive maintenance rounds in technical rooms and user areas.
- Carries out corrective maintenance during incidents, including
- site troubleshooting and proximity support.
- Provides support for videoconference rooms, technical rooms,
- desking zones, and similar environments.
- Manages the prioritization and handling of VIP requests.
- Stock and Logistics Management
- Manages the buffer stock of replacement equipment, including rotation, replenishment, preparation, and delivery.
- Oversees equipment logistics such as storage, preparation, and distribution.
- Incident Management and ITSM Tools
- Performs administrative management of incidents in the ITSM tool (Service
Now).
- Documents interventions and keeps related procedures up to date.
- Network Management and Coordination
- Manages the network resources required for support, including patching, physical ports, and connections.
- Coordinates actions with the network team to ensure service continuity.
Required Skills:
- Technical skills include solid knowledge of IT environments and networks, proficiency in Windows systems, and working knowledge of mac
OS.
- Familiarity with mobile devices and the ability to diagnose and resolve a wide range of technical issues.
- Knowledge of ITSM and ticketing tools such as Service
Now, along with strong written communication skills for procedures and reports.
- Behavioral skills include effective communication with users and clients, the ability to interact in technical English, proactivity, task prioritization, autonomy, time management, stress resistance, and the ability to make sound decisions and gain adherence.
Experience:
- A minimum of five years of proven experience in a similar role is required.
- Required Languages: English ( fluent), Portuguese
