As the headquarters of our Nearshore IT center, Alter Solutions Portugal has a dedicated team of around 30 specialists involved in projects with internationally renowned clients.
Job Description
Main Responsibilities:
Process & Documentation
- Manage onboarding processes for permanent and external employees in the UK and France.
- Monitor recruitment plans and provide ongoing status updates to senior management.
Governance and Controls
- Oversee contractors' rate adjustments, conversions, and validations for the UK and France, liaising with regional teams for oversight.
- Support the preparation of Techboard and HR & Sourcing committees.
- Contribute to sourcing initiatives such as conversions, graduate programs, and juniorization in the Efficiency Steerco.
Coordination
- Prepare and compile onboarding requests, ensuring all data is available for the weekly Onboarding Committee.
- Support administration and supplier relationships related to the client’s platform.
Projects
- Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives.
- Assist in monitoring and coordinating talent initiatives, including juniorization programs involving graduates, trainees, and apprentices.
- Act as the project lead for the nearshoring hub in Portugal, collaborating with local management, HR, and other functions.
Qualifications
Technical Skills:
- Proven experience in project management, onboarding, and talent coordination, including headcount monitoring.
- Experience in process improvement and automation, preferably with Agile methodology.
- Proficiency in the O365 suite (Outlook, Teams, One
Drive, Excel, Power
Point, Power
Bi). - Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with IT and HR functions.
Language Skills:
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Soft Skills:
- Ability to work in a
- paced, dynamic environment with
- functional teams. - Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Good presentation skills, attention to detail, and awareness of the big picture.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and senior management.
Additional Information
The work model is hybrid (2 days per week in the office), with
- site presence required during the initial months.
