Responsibilities

• Flexible hours: Teach
  - time with a minimum of 10 hours/week, including peak hours (8 AM - 9 PM EST).
• Work from home: No commute, teach from your own space.
• Regular students: Teach young learners/teens.
• Access to training and development resources to enhance teaching skills.

Position Details

• Start Date: Immediate, recruitment end date of 30 September 2025
• Rate: $6 USD per hour
• Contract Type: Independent Service Provider with The Really Great Teacher Company

Qualifications

• Fluent English (C1/C2 level) and Portuguese speaker
• 3+ years of online or
  - class English teaching experience
• Accredited 120-hour+ TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification OR
• Bachelor-'s Degree in English, Translation, English Literature, or related field
• Familiarity with CEFR and ESL assessments
• Highly computer literate with excellent communication skills
• Clean criminal record

Technical Requirements

• PC: Intel Core i5 CPU @2. 40GHz (4 CPUs) or better, 8GB RAM or greater
• Internet: Stable fiber connection (20 Mbps upload/download) via LAN cable
• Backup Power: UPS with 4-5 hours of battery life (recommended for areas with power interruptions)
• Equipment: Noise-cancelling headset, HD webcam (720p), and a quiet,
